David Lee Mullins 70 of Bloomingrose went home to be with his Lord with his family by his side after a tough battle with cancer on Sunday March 10th, 2019. He was born May 14th, 1948, a son of the late Onie Ernest and Mabel Marie Mullins.
David is survived by his wife of 49 years Patty Ann Mullins, one daughter Polly (Bill) Morrison, two sons Billy (Jennifer) Mullins and Ernie (Kurie) Mullins.
Eight grandchildren, Christopher (Kaylee) Montgomery, Heather (Dusty) Lattea, Hayley Bolinger, Kaylie (Ryan) Webb, Kelsie Morrison, Brianna (Steven) Dickens, Billy Mullins and Ashley Mullins. Nine great grandchildren, Douglas and David Montgomery, Brantley Larch, Alynlee Bolinger, Reed, Carter, Rylie Webb, Annastyn Morrison and Camden Dickens.
Two sisters, Nancy Mullins and Mary (Larry) Barker. One brother, Johnny Mullins.
David served in the United States Army, he was employed with Madison Mines and retired from Laurel Coal Company with 40 years of service. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan all his life.
Visitation will be Wednesday March, 13th, 2019 from 11:30 am —1 :00 pm. The funeral will immediately follow the Visitation at the Amazing Grace Fellowship in Kirby, WV with pastor Roger Gogus ofﬁciating. Burial will be at Pineview Cemetery in Orgas, WV.
His family would like to thank Dr. Jogenpally, Pastor Roger Gogus, John Waybright, Gary Crum, Russell Silva, Fred Thompson, and Dignity Hospice Staff.
