ELSIE GAIL SCARBRO-STOVER-JONES, 61 of Clear Creek, WV passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 following a long illness. She was born March 11, 1956 to the late Beverage Scarbro, and Maggie Stover Scarbro Runion. Elsie was a devoted and loving mother to her children and grandchildren, they were her world. She was very excited for the arrival of her first great granddaughter in May. A wonderful sister and aunt and loved by many. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband of 16 years Kenneth Jones, 2 brothers, Harold and Floyd Scarbro and a daughter in-law, Ruby (Sissy) Evans Stover. Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Garry Stover Jr. and Mitchell Stover of Robson, WV three grandchildren: Morgan Stover and fiancée, Andrew Mullins of Maple Fork, WV, Hunter Stover of Clear Creek, WV, and Knoxlee Stover of Kincaid, WV. Four step children: Kenneth Andrew Jones, Crystal Jones, and Keith Jones all of Ravenna, Ohio, and Melinda Raynes and her husband, Dewey of Ameagle, WV and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Four brothers: Woody (Noretta) and Jackie Scarbro of Clear Creek, WV, Denver (Belinda)and Ricky (Philena) Scarbro of Artie, WV. Six sisters: Alice Collins (and companion Dennis), Juanita (Junior)Graley, and Libby (Eddie) Toney of Clear Creek, WV, Julie Hoke of North Carolina, Rachel McKnight and Patty (Jerry) Tyree of Beckley, WV and many nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
