Patricia M. Scarbro, 73, of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018 surrounded by family after a long illness.
Patricia was born in Beckley, West Virginia on August 18, 1944 to the late Cal and Quinnie Milam. She graduated from Marsh Fork High School in 1962 and married her high school sweetheart, the late Kenneth Scarbro in 1964. Together they had four children, Kimberly Poli(Robert), Kenneth, Jr., Kathy Rabalais(Todd) and Kevin(Debra). She immensely enjoyed caring for her family and her home.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her longtime companion James Bussell, sisters Agnes Freeman, Frances Coleman, Mary Ferrell, Shirley Kessel and Joyce Stavrakis and brothers James, Harold, Kelly, Roy and Jerry Milam.
Besides her children she is survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Parker, Morgan Rabalais, Alex Poli, Grant Rabalais, Cameron Scarbro, Gillian Scarbro, Cheyenne Scarbro, Chloe Scarbro and Corey Scarbro, sisters, Alice Spangler and June Thompson and brother, Paul Milam.
Visitation will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home in Whitesville, West Virginia on Thursday, May 17th from 10-12 am. The service will be followed by burial officiated by Lynn Halstead at Miller Cemetery in Rock Creek, WV. Kenny Scarbro, Kevin Scarbro, Robert “Bob” Poli, Todd Rabalais, Grant Rabalais and James “Bobby” Spangler will serve as pall bearers.
