Phyllis June Miller, 75, of Naoma, WV. On October 31st, 2018, after a short illness, Phyllis joined her beloved husband in Heaven. Surrounded by family, she passed peacefully at Bowers Hospice House. Born August 18, 1943 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Brady Evelyn Pettry. Phyllis loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She had a way of making everyone feel like family. She always made holidays special and enjoyed seeing the little ones open Christmas presents more than anything. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Jennings Byrd “Bebob” Miller; sisters, Emma Jean and Polly Dickens of Naoma; and brothers, Albert Pettry of Naoma; Charles Pettry of Stickney; Kenneth Pettry, of Sundial; and Ross Pettry of Wauconda, IL. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Terry Miller and wife, Yvonne of Naoma; Jimmy Miller of Fairdale; John and wife, Rosemary of Dover, NH; daughter, Paula Miller of Naoma; ex-daughter-in-law, Tracie Sloan of Fairdale; sisters, Cassie Bailey, of Naoma; Lucy Cantley of Naoma; sisters-in-law, Marthy Pettry of Sundial; Jenny Bonds and Mabel Brown of Naoma; and Mary Miller of Charleston; four grandchildren, Brandon Miller of Naoma; Bobbie Kay Miller of Charlotte, NC; and Jacob and Jamie Miller of Fairdale; three step-grandchildren, Matt Richmond and wife, Toni, of California, MD; Kelly Revy and husband Gabor, of Mount Pleasant, SC; and Samantha Cook of Naoma; four great grandchildren, Tristan Runyon of Naoma; Alex Orellana, Cruz and Mia Diaz, of Charlotte, NC; and three step-great grandchildren; Scarlett and Bodhi Richmond; and Lila Revy. Phyllis is also survived by a host of family and friends who adored her. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018 at 1:00p.m. in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Rev. Danny Gilfilen and Rev. Steve Smith officiating. The singers will be the Turner Family. Interment will follow in the A.T. Miller Cemetery Naoma, WV. The visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
